can u imagine? having sunburnt while swimming?
or rather i wasnt swimming at all, just enjoying soaking myself in a "public" bath tub! didnt realised untili went home with redness on my shoulders and face. tt explanis why i was so damn hot throughout the whole journey for monthly meeting...

saw my ex sec sch fren at novena sq. OMG!!(there's only 2 extreme situtation when this term is being used) well, wouldnt say much. anyway i couldnt recognise her... was happily munching and peeling off the deep fried skin of KFC breast meat until some1 called me... then i realised who she was.. hmm... think it's time to shed off some fats.. otherwise when i go to streets i wudnt be able to recognise my ex-sch frens... muahahaha...

Eagles in the Storm

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us... and all of us will experience them... we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward Jesus.

The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment into our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them. The Bible says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles." Isaiah 40:31.

had my D&D on the 9th. was fun and hilarious. though many were paying attention to JP's speech, waiting and anticipating how many % will we get for bonus. new logo, new management. nonetheless, really enjoyed.. i won a coffee maker & a $20 NTUC voucher.. gave to mama to brew nice kopi. voucher i kept for myself. for the snacks and choco to give away hahahaha

Process dept & engineering dept formed a group take part in a skit. theme: tribal, and was supposed to incorporate one of the VWS valves. our team came out with a tribal-simple filtration method. we got in 3rd. thought many tot we shld be the 1st.




my group, after changing and having our meal.

my office had a prayer group that consist only 3 members, which was supposed to gather and pray weekly. i was "invited" to join them by jennifer tay. so makes 4. it was good! can see the 3 of them were rather enthusiastic twds this.. and they had prayer journals, special prayers for the whole staff and building. was reading thru their journal and many prayers were fulfiled by Him. even pray for tenders, so cool.. anyway i pray that with the addition of me, the group will grow and see many prayers answered.

In all things, praise Him.

my day

guess wat i did just now? filling up my ink cartridges myself, instead of buying the original cartridges which cost $35 each.. managed to save quite an amt from this DIY kit!

yesterday went to Sitex with the bf.. got himself a new "gf".. a personal belonging on the go, having a personal touch, 24hr always filling up his boring moments, chit chatting and playing with her.. haha.. he got his new "gf" i got mine too.. a iPOD nano heee...

din get anything except the DIY ink filling kit, specially for the model of my printer.. resort to tt cos one orginal cartridge really cost a bomb! i already had 4 emptied cartridges lying inside my box!

enough of gadgets!!!

haiz.. how?? my student got in to EM3. though MOE had already striked off this streaming system, her sch still decided to place her there.. suddenly felt the stress eversince last tuition 2 weeks ago.. at first i wanna tell the mom i wan to stop tutoring her kid already. but seeing tt she was anxious for her daughter's future, i decided to endure... dunno wat God is trying to do here.. this kid was not even a least bothered, many advise she also wun listen. all i can do is to patient with her.. i hope i can... sometimes she's getting on my nerves...

really been long since i write in..

juz an update in the month of OCTOBER...

1. was confirmed as a perm staff on the 11th.. yeah.. (but no incre though, sad to say) more things on hand, more things to learn, more responsibility... well well.. looking fwd to the D&D on 9th dec.. i wanna AIM for tt 1st prize hahaha...

2. finally decided to get a router so that our "white elephant lappy" can be used to serve its purpose!

3. cell group getting "onz" i wud asay... looking fwd to wed's friendship day.. (got no cell mtg cuz my sherperd and his faily flying off to HK!!) looking fwd to a time of fun and good food...

4. jus realise my graduation plaques is due for collection.. after 4 solid months.. we forgot all abt it.. i pinned it on my notice board to serve as a reminder.. same goes for my graduation photoshoot at SerangoonBoardway!

5. oh ya!! the usher ministry.. been serving at the left aisle for 3 alternate weeks (after the re-structuring of the minisrty), if u guys were to notice... haa.. anyway, for the rest of next month, i will be doing on the right side.. catch me there!! haa

6. my thorat hurts, not becos of the backup singing. think must be the HELLO PANDA's fault.. haiz.. this is the worst and longest sore throat i ever had! (previously was sick; had to see doc to get MC after 2 times of nose bleed, heh) i need herbal tea!!

7. more challenges and "visions" are in the midst. like wat? saving up for marriage, my future house (dunno where it will be), my future twins haha... (prob in my dreams bah...)

okie.. gotta pack bag for tmr's work.gonna enjoy the next 3 holis!
